A succulent-like plant, portulaca thrives in warm temperatures and sunny locations and is tolerant of dry conditions. Flowers close in the evening and reopen under bright sunlight. Mix includes deep red, fuchsia, orange, peppermint, pink, rose, white, and yellow blooms. Also known as moss rose.
