Can be in the spring for a “green top” yellow cooking onion by the beginning of July and a dried bulb by the end of July. Fills the gap between last year’s storage onions and this year’s crop from seed. Uniform, sweet, and flavorful, Shakespeare bulbs have excellent storage potential when well-cured. Originally bred in Great Britain specifically for onion sets, Shakespeare is known for its exceptional bolt tolerance, vigorous growth habit, and wide adaptability. Best at 37° latitude and higher. Sets avg. 11–21 mm. NOTE: Shakespeare sets are small, dry immature onion bulbs grown the season before. Also suited for fall planting in the North for overwintering. If seeds fail to leave China, we will refund your payment 100%. But if seeds fail to reach you due to customs problem on your side which we were not informed in advance, we will not be able to bear any loss, and no refund will be made.
We sell only viable plants seeds online, and test germination of our seeds from time to time. So we will not be able to refund for seeds that clients fail to germinate, unless we are convinced that it's truly problem of our seeds.
